Grade name: Mflam AP660
Mflam AP660 is a halogen free flame retardant which has good compatibility with various resins to produce transparent flame retardancy intumescent coatings. When encountering with fire, it will expand and form a protective shield to stop fire from spreading widely. It is can be used both of water based and solvent based paints and coatings.
Good compatibility with styrene acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyester, alkyd resin, amino resin and other resins. Can be used to produce transparent flame retardant coatings for wood and plastic boards (PP, PVC, etc.) that require a transparent appearance after coating

Application Method
Before apply the paint, stir well and evenly. The total wet coting amount should be 600 g/sq2. Paint twice (2 coats); each coat is 300g/sq2. After drying, each coat should be 0.2mm thick. The total thickness should be 0.4mm.
Summer: Around 8 hours. Winter: Around 12 hours. However, the actual application time interval depends on the actual dryness of the coating before apply 2nd coat on.
