Phosphorus Flame Retardant CS for All Kinds of Fabrics to Achieve Flammability
Specification:
Chemical Composition: aqueous mixture based on phosphorus and nitrogen organic compounds
Appearance: clear liquid
Density (20ºC): about 1.2g/cm3
Solid content: about 50%
PH: 6.0-7.0
Solubility : soluble in water
Shel life: 1 year in closed container (temperature @25ºC)
Properties:
No corrosion;
No adverse effect on the strength of the fabric;
Good thermal stability;
Can be sued in adverse climatic condition;
Compatible with different bonding agents combined (preliminary tests are necessary);
Normally no yellowing occur under high curing temperature ( up to 180 ºC );
Usually Compatible with softener, water and oil repellent combined (preliminary tests are necessary);
Particularly well suitable for special, problematic material composition and fabric texture;
Prolonged storage may cause turbidity, which does not influence the effects;
Application:
Mflam CS is suitable for cellulose, polyester, wool, polypropylene and polyethylene fibers and their blends. End uses are automotive textiles, mattress ticking, building materials, curtains and drapes, and decorative fabrics. Mflam CS finishes are compatible with other treatments, such as coatings and oil- and water-repellent finishes.
--Typical application process
Mflam CS is added to the bath with water by stirring at room temperature. Curing temperature is between 100-180ºC.
The using amount of Mflam CS is depending on the fabric texture and absorbability, flammability requirement, other auxiliaries in the bath, etc.
--Padding process
Cellulose: 300-450g/L, pick up 70%-100%, ( 10-14% dry add on fabric)
Wool : thin 230-270g/L, thick 200-250g/L, (8-12% dry add on fabric)
Auto decoration: Cellulose 200-300g/L
Synthetic preliminary tests are necessary
--Dipping process (i.e. curtain)
300g/L-500g/L, pick up 60- 70%, avoid the lose of the working liquid.
Curing temperature: 100-180ºC (not higher than 180ºC)
Precaution:
Mflam CS may bring unexpected effect on the fabric ( i.e. color fastness, brightness, etc). Preliminary tests are necessary.
