Application
Mflam 1520 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant for polyolefins with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame retardant elements (the system does not contain APP and ZnO); it mainly plays a flame retardant role in the formation of carbon and expansion flame retardant. It has high flame retardancy efficiency, good thermal stability, no precipitation, good water resistance, light aging resistance and low smoke and non-toxicity. PP treated by Mflam 1520, can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm), and pass the 70 °C X168 hours water immersion test (UL746C), while passing GWIT 900 ° C and GWFI 960 ° C glow wire test. Mflam 1520 can also be applied to glass fiber reinforced PP, can reach UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm).
