Mflam PX-220 is is an oligomeric, free-flowing solid pastilles phosphate ester halogen free flame retardant, whose superiority is demonstrated in good processibility, unique self-extinguishing flame retardant properties and good compatibility. It is recommended for use in PC, PC/ABS, PPO/HIPS and PC alloys.
1. Highly effective flame retardant for styrenic polymers;
2. For biopolymers (PLA) and polyolefins such as LLDPE according to DIN-4102 B2; PP foams according to FMVSS302; and nonwovens for textile applications according to NFPA-701.
3. Because it is a molten solid (melting point ≥90°C), it has processing advantages compared to other non-halogen additives currently used in similar applications.
For passing UL94 V0:
1. Pure PC: 6-8%;
2. PC/ABS (ratio 9:1): 8-10%;
3. PC/ABS (ratio 8:2): 10-14%;
4. PC/ABS (ratio 7:3): 12-16%;
