Application:

Mflam 1920 is an environmentally friendly halogen-free flame retardant specially for TPE, TPEE and other elastomer electronic wires, with phosphorus and nitrogen as flame retardant elements.
A dense and expanded carbon layer can be rapidly formed on its surface in the case of fire, and this carbon layer can effectively block the heat transfer and the contact between combustibles and air and can inhibit the generation of smoke. At the same time, the process does not produce corrosive gases such as hydrogen halide.
Mflam 1920 has good thermal stability and water resistance, no precipitation, material flame retardant grade up to UL94 V-0 level, wire harness flame retardant grade up to UL1581 VW-1 and through IEC 60332 single wire and cable vertical Burn test. Comparing to other FR, Mflam 1920 performances better especially in white oil based system.

Recommended dosage:

Flame Retardant Standard Mflam 1920 dosage (when white oil amount is 10-15%)
UL1581 VW-1 28%-33%
UL 94 V-0 35%
Remarks: The actual dosage depends on the specific formula; Mflam 1920 is generally used with PPO.
